Denison, Texas – One of the two children who were seriously injured and hospitalized following a three-vehicle traffic collision on Highway 75 in Denison is dead, according to Denison Police.
The incident happened at about 9:45 p.m. on June 17 in the northbound lanes of Highway 75 near Loy Lake Road.
According to Denison police, a sport utility vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler after it was rear-ended by a pickup truck.
Authorities say a total of five people, including 2 children, were injured in the crash. The two children were airlifted to a Dallas hospital with serious injuries where one of them later died.

Denison, Texas – Five people were injured Monday night in a three-vehicle crash in Denison, according to the Denison Police Department.
The crash happened around 9:45 p.m., June 17, in the northbound lanes of Highway 75 near Loy Lake Road.
Police said a vehicle clipped another vehicle, causing it to spin into the median and back into the right lane where it was struck by a semi-truck.
Two children were airlifted to a Dallas hospital with serious injuries. Three other people were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating the crash.
