Child, 1, Injured in Crash on S.P.I.D in Corpus Christi

1-Year-Old Kid Hospitalized in Corpus Christi Crash on S.P.I.D

Corpus Christi, Texas (November 27, 2017)- A one-year-old child was taken to a hospital after being was struck by a vehicle in Corpus Christi Saturday afternoon, according to Corpus Christi police officers.
The incident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. Saturday, November 25, inside a parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 9300 Block of S.P.I.D.
Authorities said the kid was struck by a vehicle which was pulling back from a parking spot and caused the child to fall to the ground. A report said the child was with her father at the time of the crash.
According to a police report, the victim seemingly sustained minor injuries and was transported to Driscoll Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
Authorities said that no charges against the driver are expected.
