Dallas, TX – The two men who were killed earlier this month in a pedestrian accident in North Dallas have been identified as Chad Smith and his brother-in-law, Sam Arlia, according to officials.
The deadly accident was reported around 6:20 p.m. on February 5 at the intersection of Frankford and Coit roads.
Police said a black Mercedes struck a white Nissan Sentra. The impact pushed the Mercedes off the roadway and onto the sidewalk, where it struck Smith and Arlia, who were waiting to cross the street.
Smith and Arlia were taken to the hospital, where they later died. They were on a business trip to the city at the time of the accident.
A GoFundMe was created to help cover memorial services and stabilizing expenses.
The police are investigating the accident.

Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection and struck two pedestrians who were walking on the street.
Both pedestrians and two people in the vehicles were taken to the hospital, where the pedestrians died. The other two victims were listed in stable condition.
