2 Lake Worth Residents Andrew Satroplus and Joseph Satroplus Killed and another Injured in Crash Involving Truck-Tractor on I-20

Midland County, Texas (November 20, 2017) – Two people were killed and another was hospitalized on Friday afternoon in a crash with a Freightliner truck-tractor on I-20, according to a report.
The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. on Interstate 20, nine miles east of Midland on Friday, November 17.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 51-year-old Dallas man was driving a Freightliner truck-tractor that was towing a semi-trailer eastbound on I-20 when he slowed down for a traffic jam. The driver of a dodge pickup, Andrew P. Satroplus, 34, of Lake Worth was traveling behind the tractor-trailer and crashed into the back of the semi.
Satroplus was traveling with two passengers, Kyle Satroplus, 4, andJoseph Satroplus, 11.Andrew and Josephwere pronounced dead at the scene. Kyle suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Lubbock, according to DPS.
The driver of the truck-tractor and his passenger were not injured.
