5 Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Crash on Crosstown Expressway in Corpus Christi

Officer and 4 Civilians Injured in Corpus Christi Car Accident on Crosstown Expressway and Greenwood
Corpus Christi, Texas (December 15, 2018) – An officer and four civilians were injured early Saturday morning in a traffic accident in Corpus Christi, according to a local news source.
The wreck took place just after 1:30 a.m. on the Crosstown Expressway and Greenwood.
As per the report, the officer was investigating a single vehicle accident and was sitting on his patrol car when for unknown reasons he was struck by a black SUV.
The officer and four occupants of the SUV were transported to Christus Spohn Shoreline with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
