Woman Hospitalized after San Antonio Crash on Highway 151 near West Military Drive

San Antonio, Texas (May 6, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized early Sunday morning after an accident in San Antonio, according to San Antonio police.
The crash took place on Highway 151 near West Military Drive.
According to the San Antonio police, the woman was driving her jeep when she veered onto the shoulder of the highway and slammed into an abandoned vehicle.
The impact caused the Jeep to overturn, and the woman became trapped. She was extricated and transported to University Hospital in critical condition.
According to the police, the woman sustained massive head injuries in the crash.
Police said they don’t believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
