2 Hospitalized after Head-On Crash on U.S. 59 in Laredo
Laredo, Texas (August 3, 2018) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Thursday morning in Laredo, according to the DPS.
The incident happened at around 9:25 a.m. Thursday, August 2, on U.S. 59 near LIFE Downs.
DPS said a man was driving a grey Chevrolet Cobalt southbound on U.S. 59 when he moved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Nissan Maxima.
The two drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles at the time of the crash.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were taken to Laredo Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
