1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 44 near San Diego

One Person Dies in Duval County Crash on State Highway 44

San Diego, Texas (May 5, 2018) – One person was killed in a fatal two-vehicle accident on Friday evening near San Diego, according to the San Diego Fire Department,.
The incident took place on State Highway 44, approximately 8 miles west of San Diego on Friday, May 4.
The crash involved a red and white pickup and a dark-colored car.
The firefighters responded to the accident and extricated the occupants of the two vehicles.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear how many people were injured in the crash.
Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
