91-Year-Old JoAnn Hunt Killed in Young County Crash on Highway 251

Olney, Texas (December 27, 2018) – An elderly woman was killed when her car was hit by a semi truck on December 19 in Young County, according to the DPS.
The wreck took place on State Highway 251.
DPS said JoAnn Morgan Hunt, 91, of Olney, was making a U-turn when her Toyota Highlander was struck on its side by an 18-wheeler that was being operated by a 52-year-old Elbert man.
Hunt was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
No other injuries were reported from the incident.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
