Pedestrian Struck, Injured on Southwest Freeway Frontage Road

Person Hospitalized After South Freeway Frontage Road Crash

Houston, Texas (June 6, 2017) – A pedestrian was hospitalized early Tuesday Morning after being Struck by a vehicle on Southwest Freeway frontage road, according to a police report
The accident took place shortly before 4:00.
As per the report, it appears that a taxi minivan struck a pedestrian. The unidentified party was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
All northbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway frontage road were closed and traffic diverted onto Hillcroft.  However, the roadway has since been reopened.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
