Man Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Comal Avenue in New Braunfels
New Braunfels, Texas (September 18, 2018) – A 53-year-old man was critically injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in New Braunfels, according to a local news release.
The accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. September 16, on Comal Avenue.
Police said the man was walking along Comal Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle which fled the scene after the accident.
The victim was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle was described as a red or dark red with possible front-end damage.
As per the release, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or a grand jury indictment.
