Carlos Reyes-Dominguez Dies in Oldham County Car Accident on I-40

Oldham County,  Texas (August 1, 2018) – A crash involving a semi-truck and a car left one person dead on Monday morning in Oldham County,  according to the DPS.
The collision took place at about 9:47 a.m. July 30 on Interstate 40.
DPS said Carlos Reyes-Dominguez, 63, of Tucumcari, was driving a Ford Fiesta west on I-40 when he tried to make a left turn into the center median and was hit by a semi-truck.
Reyes-Dominguez died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the semi-truck, Kevin McCafferty, was unhurt.
The DPS is investigating the wreck.
