Harris County, Texas (March 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle on Tuesday at an intersection in northwest Harris County, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened on Tuesday, March 10, in the area of Smiling Woods Lane and Texas 249.

Deputies said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, at the intersection.

The pedestrian was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
