Four Injured in Harris County Crash on 290 and FM 1960

Harris County, Texas (March 3, 2019) – A crash involving multiple vehicles left several people injured on Saturday in Harris County.
According to a report by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened on 290 and FM 1960 Saturday, March 2.
Deputies said a Mercedes SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed down a hill when it slammed into a Ford SUV. The impact sparked a chain-reaction collision involving three other vehicles.
The driver of the Mercedes tried to flee the scene but was caught in the parking lot of a Texas Roadhouse. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Three other people were taken to a hospital, with a woman in her 20s suffering critical injuries.
Deputies suspect alcohol may have played a role in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
