One Killed in Round Rock Train Crash on Interstate 35
Round Rock, Texas – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a train crash in Round Rock, according to the Round Rock Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 11:00 a.m., on May 15, on Interstate 35.
Police said an Amtrak train struck an SUV.
One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The crash closed the Interstate 35 frontage roads on both the northbound and southbound sides near McNeil Road.
No additional information was available.
The police are investigating the crash.
