The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene
Henderson County, TX. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in the Chandler area of Henderson County on Thursday evening.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on FM 317 at around 5 p.m.
An SUV was traveling east when it failed to drive in a single lane and collided head-on with a pickup truck towing a trailer.
The truck and trailer jackknifed, and the trailer got disconnected before rolling into the westbound lane. The SUV landed in a nearby ditch.
The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
