One Killed, One Injured in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Crash on Clarkwood Road near Agnes Street

Corpus Christi, Texas (November 9, 2018) – One person died while another one was transported to a hospital after an accident where a vehicle struck pedestrians on Thursday night in Corpus Christi, according to the Corpus Christi Police.
The crash took place at around 8:30 p.m. November 8 in the 700 block of Clarkwood Road near Agnes Street.
Police said two men aged 23 and 22 were walking along Clarkwood Road when the two tried to cross the road and were both hit by a southbound car.
The 23-year-old died at the scene of the crash. The other victim sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he was said to be in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
