Laredo, TX. – One person was seriously injured in a car accident on Wednesday evening in Laredo.
According to the Rio Bravo Fire Department, the accident occurred around 5 p.m. on Highway 83.
A silver four-door car collided with a Ford pickup truck on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The driver of the car suffered serious injuries including a broken leg and was taken to Laredo Medical Center for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
