Harlingen, TX. – A state trooper was injured in a crash involving a bus on Tuesday evening in Harlingen.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of East Harrison Avenue and FM 509 at around 6:35 p.m.
A state trooper reportedly crashed into an immigration bus while enroute to a pursuit.
The trooper was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
None of the 19 people on board the bus was injured.
Additional details about the collision were not provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
