The accident happened around 5:06 p.m. on August 24 in the southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Beverly Drive.
Authorities said the collision involved an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck.
The Ford was pinned under the 18-wheeler.
One person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The collision closed all southbound lanes of the tollway at Mockingbird Lane.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
