Driver Hospitalized after Houston Bus Crash on Memorial
Houston, Texas (December 30, 2018) – A driver was hospitalized Saturday morning following a traffic accident in Houston, authorities said.
The collision took place at around 5:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29 on Memorial near Taft.
According to the authorities, a red Lexus rear-ended a Metro bus for an unknown reason on Memorial eastbound. The force of the impact caused the sedan to overturn and trapped the driver.
Firefighters along with police responded to the scene and extricated the driver from the car. The victim was then transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
No injuries were reported on the bus. It remained unknown what caused the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
