1 Killed in Winkler County Crash on Highway 302 near Kermit
Winkler County, Texas (December 15, 2018) – One person was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Winkler County, according to the Texas of Department of Public Safety.
The tragic accident was reported at around 2:51 a.m. on Highway 302, about eight miles east of Kermit.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a pickup truck and a truck tractor or semi-trailer combination vehicle were involved in the collision. It’s unknown what caused the crash.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
