One Person Killed and Another Injured in Fatal Homestead Road Crash in Northeast Houston

Houston, Texas (August 16, 2017) – One person was killed and another seriously injured on Saturday evening after two cars collided in Northeast Houston.
According to Houston police, the crash happened at around 5:15 p.m. at 10600 Homestead Road on Saturday 12 August.
A red Cadillac SRX SUV was stopped in the northbound traffic lane at 10600 Homestead Road when it was hit by a red Hummer H3 after it failed to slow down while approaching scene.
The driver and passenger of the Cadillac were seriously injured in the collision.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital where the passenger was pronounced dead. Information on the condition of the driver was not available.
The driver of the Hummer sustained minor injuries.
Police are undergoing investigations.
