Kilgore, TX – A man was seriously injured on Friday in a multi-vehicle collision in Kilgore, according to the Texas DPS.

The collision happened on January 2 on Interstate 20 near SH 31 and SH 42.

DPS said multiple semi-trucks were involved in the collision. One of the trucks was hauling ceramic tile, which spilled onto the interstate.

One of the drivers was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were not provided.

The DPS is investigating the accident.
