Yuricel Penaloza Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Interstate 35 in Belton
Yuricel Penaloza ID’d as Temple Woman Killed in Belton Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35
Belton, Texas (June 27, 2019) – The 34-year-old Temple woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in Belton has been identified as Yuricel Penaloza, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at about 9:52 p.m. Sunday, June 23 on southbound Interstate 35 near the Exit #289 (Tahuaya Road).
As per the release, Penaloza was walking on Interstate 35 when she was hit by a gold 2004 Honda Accord.
Penaloza died in the accident.
Southbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for four hours following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
