Yohannan John ID’d as Man Injured in Victoria Pedestrian Crash on Houston Highway

Victoria, Texas (October 15, 2018) – The man who was hit and injured by a vehicle on Saturday night in Victoria has been identified as Yohannan John, 59, of Florida.
According to the Victoria Police Department, the incident occurred at around 9 p.m. Saturday, October 13, in the 3000 block of Houston Highway.
Police said Yohannan was trying to cross Houston Highway from the Six Flags Motel when an eastbound Honda Element struck him.
Yohannan was transported to Citizens Medical Center, and then later airlifted to University Medical Center in San Antonio. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The driver of the Honda, David Moreno, 49, of Goliad, remained at the scene of the crash.
He incident is under investigation.
