Woman Seriously Injured in Austin Pedestrian Accident on I-35
Austin, Texas (September 15, 2019) – A woman in her 50s was hit by a car Saturday night in south Austin, according to a local news source report.
The accident happened around 8:40 p.m. September 14, in the 3600 block of south IH-35.
Officials said the woman was struck by a car on the freeway.
The victim was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
The accident closed all southbound lanes of the freeway.
An investigation is ongoing.
