Woman Killed, 2 Injured in Multi-Car Accident on Hillcroft in Houston

Houston, Texas (May 1, 2018) – A 68-year-old woman was killed and two other people were injured in a two-car accident in Houston Monday noon, according to Houston police.
The fatal crash happened at around 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 30 on Hillcroft at 2600 Voss.
According to Houston police, the woman was operating a white Ford Expedition northbound on Hillcroft when she crossed several lanes in a possible attempt to turn left onto Westheimer.
The Expedition crashed into a white Ford van and a white Chrysler 300, both were headed northbound on Voss and had stopped at the red light.
A silver Toyota and a brown Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck were also hit in the collision.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the other vehicles involved sustained minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital.
Houston police are investigating the crash.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
