Woman Hospitalized in Waco Crash on Lake Shore Drive

Waco, Texas (February 10, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized following a head-on collision in Waco early Friday morning, police said.
The accident took place at around 2:15 a.m. Friday, February 9, on Lake Shore Drive in Waco.
According to authorities, the woman was operating a Honda sedan east when her car collided with an oncoming Ford sedan head-on.
The report said that Waco firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to remove the woman from the wreckage.
Police said the female driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries while the driver of the Ford and two passengers in the Ford suffered minor scratches and bruises.
Further details regarding the wreck were not immediately available.
