Woman Killed in Vidor Pedestrian Crash on FM 105

Vidor, Texas (May 28, 2018) – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on Monday morning in Vidor, according to the authorities.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m. on FM 105 near Northwood Drive.
Police said the pedestrian walked into the path of a Ford pickup truck and was hit.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was only identified as a 56-year-old Vidor woman. Her name was not immediately released pending notification of the next of kin.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
