Woman Dies in Fort Worth Pedestrian Crash on Highway 287 near Fitzhugh Avenue

Fort Worth, Texas (December 24, 2018) – A woman was struck and killed by two vehicles early Monday morning in southeast Fort Worth, according to the police.
The crash took place at about 2:20 a.m. in the 2800 block of Highway 287 near Fitzhugh Avenue.
Police said the woman was trying to cross the highway when a vehicle struck her. A second vehicle also struck the woman’s body.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers involved remained at the scene.
The police are investigating the incident.
