Woman Critically Injured in Klein Two-Vehicle Crash on Spring Cypress

Klein, Texas (June 9, 2020) – A woman was critically injured early Tuesday morning in a head-on collision in Klein, according to deputies.

The fatal crash occurred around 12:00 a.m. at 10201 Spring Cypress.

Deputies said a man in his early 20s was driving a silver Kia southbound in the northbound lanes of the road when he crashed head-on into a Nissan sedan.

The Nissan driver, a woman, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The Kia driver is facing possible charges of intoxication assault, but the charges could be upgraded if the woman succumbs to her injuries.

An investigation is underway.
