Female Driver Hurt in Beaumont Crash on I-10

Beaumont, Texas (January 19, 2018) — A 21-year-old-year woman was hospitalized following a hit-and-run collision in Beaumont Tuesday night, according to Beaumont Police Department.
The crash happened on Tuesday, January 16, along Interstate 10 in Beaumont.
Officials reported that the woman was operating a car along Interstate 10 when she lost control of her vehicle on the icy road and slammed into the side barrier.
The woman then got out of her car to check the site when a black Ford F-150 failed to avoid the vehicle thus hit the car pushing it into the woman. The impact pinned the woman between her car and the side barrier, according to authorities.
Beaumont Police Department said that the female driver sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment while the driver of the Ford fled the accident scene.
