Wendy Vega Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 151 in San Antonio

Wendy Vega ID’d as Victim of San Antonio Car Accident on Highway 151 near Military Drive
San Antonio, Texas (November 6, 2018) – Authorities have identified the person who was killed early Friday morning in a traffic accident in San Antonio as Wendy Vega, 23.
The deadly wreck occurred just before 3:00 a.m. Friday, November 2 on Highway 151 near Military Drive.
Police said Vega was driving a pickup truck the wrong direction on Highway 151 when she slammed into a construction vehicle, which was described as a flasher equipment paint stripping rig.
Vega died at the scene. Her passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to University Hospital.
The construction truck operator was also taken to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
