42-Year-Old Wendy Sandoval Injured, Infant Killed in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on Dyer

El Paso, Texas (December 6, 2019) – An infant died two days after his mother was involved in a head-on crash on Wednesday in northeast El Paso, according to the police.

The accident happened on Wednesday, November 27, in 8700 block of Dyer.

Police said 42-year-old Wendy Sandoval, who was pregnant, was driving a Nissan Sentra when she crossed the center median and crashed head-on into a KIA Optima driven by 27-year-old Antoinette Littlejohn.

Sandoval was taken to the University Medical Center, where she gave birth to her son. The baby died two days later.

An investigation is underway.
