Sherrika Abrams Killed in Killeen Pedestrian Crash on I-14

Killeen, Texas (December 23, 2018) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday night in Killeen, according to a police report.
The incident happened at about 7:36 p.m. December 20 on Interstate 14 near Trimmier.
Police said Sherrika Abrams, 38, had left the Trimmier CVS Pharmacy parking lot and was walking north towards I-14 when she crossed the interstate and was hit by an eastbound 2016 Toyota Tacoma.
Abrams was taken to Seton Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene after the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
