Shellie Carroll Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Sylvania Avenue in Fort Worth

Shellie Carroll ID’d as Woman Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Sylvania Avenue
Fort Worth, Texas (October 11, 2018) – The woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle late last month in Fort Worth has been identified as Shellie Carroll, 57, according to a report by the Fort Worth Police Department.
The tragic accident happened at an unspecified time Wednesday, September 26 in the 2100 block of Sylvania Avenue.
As per the police report, Carroll was walking along the inside lane of Sylvania when a vehicle reportedly hit her, then it fled the scene.
A pickup then struck Carroll a second time, and it too left the scene.
Carroll died at the scene.
Investigators have yet to identify anyone involved in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
