Shawn Ramon Dies in Wichita County Crash on Interstate 44

Wichita County, Texas (June 3, 2018) – A woman was killed in a crash that sent five others to a hospital on Friday afternoon in Wichita County, according to the department of public safety.
The three-vehicle crash took place at about 12:15 p.m. June 1, on Interstate 44 just north of East Road.
DPS said Shawn Marie Ramon, 30, of Wichita Falls, was driving a vehicle north on I-44 when she drifted into the southbound side and collided with a black and a white SUVs.
The impact caused Ramon to be ejected from her vehicle.
DPS said Ramon was killed in the crash. Five other people were transported to hospitals for treatment.
The DPS is conducting an investigation into the deadly crash.
