Sharon Johnson, 1 Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 183 near Briggs in Burnet
Burnet, Texas (July 6, 2018) – A Texas pastor’s wife and teenage son were killed and three other people were injured early Tuesday morning in a three-car accident in Burnet, according to a local news source.
The collision occurred at around 12:07 a.m. Tuesday, July 3 on Highway 183, just south of Briggs.
As per the report, a Chrysler minivan and a Chevy Equinox were following each other headed southbound on Highway 183 when a northbound Dodge Ram pickup crossed over the center median and hit both vehicles.
The driver of the minivan, Sharon Orsak Johnson, 58, of Goldthwaite died at the scene. A 13-year-old male passenger in the Equinox was also declared dead.
Both the driver of the Equinox and the passenger of the minivan were transported to the hospital. The 61-year-old male driver of the Dodge Ram was also taken to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
