Sandra Coronado ID’d as Person Killed in Edinburg Crash on 69C/Expressway 281 near Trenton Road

Edinburg, Texas (December 11, 2018) – The Edinburg Police Department has identified the person who was killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Edinburg.
Sandra Coronado, 29, of Hidalgo County, died in the crash that took place just after 6:00 a.m. Sunday, December 9 on 69C also known as Expressway 281 near Trenton Road.
As per the report, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons on 69C.
Edinburg police said Coronado was killed in the crash.
A driver was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
Authorities closed several traffic lanes of 69C as they examined the scene.
No other information about the crash was available.
An investigation is ongoing.
