San Antonio Police Officer Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Loop 410 West
San Antonio, Texas (April 29, 2018) – A San Antonio Police Department officer was struck and injured by a vehicle on Sunday on the Southwest Side, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on Loop 410 Westbound.
Police said the officer was among investigators who were at the scene of an earlier fatal crash involving a motorcyclist. The officer was directing traffic when she was hit by a suspected drunk driver.
The victim was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
