Ruben Parra Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on South Border Road in Alamo

Ruben Parra Killed in Alamo Pedestrian Accident on South Border Road near Ridge Road
Alamo, Texas (December 14, 2018) – Ruben Parra, 51, was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Alamo, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly accident happened at about 2:00 a.m. December 13, on South Border Road, just north of Ridge Road.
DPS said Parra was walking on South Border Road when a silver- or gray-colored passenger car struck him.
Parra was killed in the crash.
The involved driver fled the scene after the accident heading northbound on Border Road.
An investigation is ongoing.  Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call DPS at (956) 565-7600.
