Allen, TX – One person was killed and another was injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Allen, according to the police.

Police said a white Chevrolet Malibu left its lane and rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was stopped on the right shoulder with its hazard lights on.
The Malibu driver, 52-year-old Rodolfo Rodriguez Sr., of Garland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Malibu was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the accident and cooperated with the investigators.
The Allen police are investigating the accident.
