Denton, Texas (September 20, 2018) – One person was killed in a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Denton on Wednesday night, according to the Denton Police.
The incident took place at around 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19 on Loop 288 near McKinney Street.
Police said a car was traveling southbound on the loop when it stopped to make a turn onto McKinney Street and was struck by the motorcyclist.
The rider died in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
The identities of the parties involved were not immediately released by the authorities.
The crash is under investigation.
