Rider Injured in Accident on Celestial Road in Dallas

Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Dallas Crash at Celestial Road and Noel Road

Dallas, Texas (June 2, 2018) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashing into a car during a police chase in North Dallas Thursday night, police said.
The crash took place at around 10:45 p.m. Thursday, May 31 near Celestial Road and Noel Road.
Texas Department of Public Safety official said a state trooper was attempting to pull over the motorcyclist for a traffic violation on the Dallas North Tollway near Belt Line Road when the rider tried to speed away, eventually slamming into the car.
The rider was taken to Parkland Hospital with serious injuries. The name of the victim has not yet been released pending identification and notification of next of kin.
The accident remains under investigation.
