Raymond Harley Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Horizon and Gateway West in Horizon City

Raymond Harley ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Horizon City Crash at Horizon and Gateway West
Horizon City, Texas (November 25, 2018) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who was killed early Sunday morning in a traffic accident near Horizon City as Raymond Harley, 29, of Clint.
The fatal crash transpired at around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Horizon and Gateway West.
According to the authorities, Harley was speeding on Horizon toward the Gateway intersections when an officer tried to stop him. He then accelerated faster and ran a red light on the north side of Gateway West.
A local news source reported that Harley then attempted to run the stoplight on the south side of the Gateway when he was hit by another vehicle at the intersection.
Harley died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the other vehicle, Esmeralda Reyes, 18, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Del Sol Medical Center.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
