Person Killed in Converse Pedestrian Crash on Loop 1604

Converse, Texas (June 24, 2018) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Converse, according to police.
The crash took place on 7900 Loop 1604 at about 3:30 a.m. June 23.
Police said the driver of a vehicle attempted to swerve to avoid the pedestrian but ended up hitting the man as he tried to cross the highway.
The unidentified pedestrian was killed in the accident.
Police said alcohol was not suspected to be involved in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
