Pedestrian Struck and Killed by SAPD Vehicle on I-35 in San Antonio
San Antonio, Texas (June 20, 2018) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a police vehicle early Tuesday morning in San Antonio, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at around 12:26 a.m. June 19, on Interstate 35.
The authorities said a Hispanic man darted across the southbound lanes of the interstate and was hit by a San Antonio Police Department vehicle occupied by two sergeants.
The pedestrian is believed to have also been struck by two more vehicles, whose drivers failed to stop at the scene.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the site of the crash.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
