Travis County, Texas (February 15, 2018) – A pedestrian was knocked down and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night in southwestern Travis County, according to a report by the Austin-Travis County Ems.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, on West U.S. 290 near Boling Drive.
The circumstances under which the accident occurred were unclear.
Ems officials said a man in his 20s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Department Public of Safety is conducting an investigation into the wreck.
