Man Injured in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Park Lane

Dallas, Texas (June 29, 2018) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver late Wednesday night in northeast Dallas, according to the police.
The crash took place at around 11:40 p.m. June 27, in the 8440 block of Park Lane.
Police said a 53-year-old man was attempting to cross the street alongside his wife when he was struck by a white car.
Witnesses told police that the vehicle could be a Dodge Avenger and may have sustained front-end damage in the crash. The vehicle reportedly made a right turn and fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a hospital with critical injuries. His wife was not injured as he was able to push her off the roadway before he was struck.
The police are looking for the hit-and-run driver.
